Lone Star College System is the fifth-largest community college district in Texas. The district is a comprehensive, fully accredited college district, offering both academic transfer programs, associate degree programs, certificates, community education and corporate training.
Lone Star College System comprises LSC-North Harris, LSC-Kingwood, LSC-Tomball, LSC-Montgomery, five satellite centers and LSS-University Center in a service area of 2,700 square miles in north Harris and Montgomery counties. LSC-CyFair College, the fifth comprehensive college in the district, will open in fall 2003. Nearly 31,000
students are enrolled for credit classes this fall, with thousands more in community education and corporate training programs.
